Building Codes and Amendments |
EFFECTIVE January 12, 2009, the City of
Tempe has adopted the 2006 International Building Codes with amendments and the
2008 National Electrical Code with amendments. Customers submitting an
application for a building permit BETWEEN January 12 and April 1, 2009,
may elect to utilize the previous adopted code system OR the newly adopted code
system.
The
following codes and the City of Tempe Amendments thereto were adopted per Ordinance 2005.89:
