The City of
Tempe
underwent a year long employee workforce audit for the purpose of
identifying and understanding the existing personnel issues within the
city. In August 2002, the
consulting firm of Jamieson and Gutierrez presented their findings to
the Mayor and Council. As
result of these finding the Mayor and Council directed the City Manager
to help create a Diversity Director position to spearhead the actions
necessary in responding to the audit. |
