Tempe Police - Traffic Bureau

The mission of the Tempe Police Department Traffic Bureau is to provide a safe, efficient environment for travel on the streets of Tempe by reducing accidents and maintaining as efficient flow as possible.

The Traffic Bureau employs approximately 35 people.  The majority of which are motorcycle Officers and Sergeants.  Their responsibilities include enforcing all traffic laws, the DUI reduction task force, emergency / special event traffic control, and request from citizens for specific neighborhood traffic enforcement."
