8:00 a.m. to Noon
Help the environment and have
your Christmas Tree shred. Christmas
trees will be chipped, recycled and used in land applications in the community.
Before dropping off any trees, they must be removed from tree stands and free of
nails, ornaments, lights, garland and tinsel. If you
provide your own bag you take the mulch
with you. The event will be held
on Saturday, January 10, 2009 from 8:00
a.m. to Noon at Kiwanis Park
Recreation Center, located at 6111 W.
All-America Way.
Christmas Tree Collection Reminder
Residents are reminded not to place Christmas trees in garbage containers.
This takes the space needed for household garbage and creates spillage when the
containers are emptied.
Please do not place your Christmas tree, or other uncontained items, out for
collection no more than 10 days before the Monday of your collection week.
Please refer to the Brush & Bulky Item Collection Schedule:
brush and bulky item
schedule.
