Residents from the Daley Park Neighborhood have been
working together to identify alternatives to help address cut-through traffic.
Since April 2007, several neighborhood meetings were held to discuss these
issues. At the February 2008 meeting, a request was received to start a new
process using the Council-adopted Streetscape and Transportation Enhancement
Program (STEP) policy.
•Once
Draft Plan is developed, a neighborhood meeting will be called to
present the Draft Plan.
Action Team: According to the City of Tempe
Streetscape and Transportation
Enhancement Program Manual, the Action Team will be made up of 5 to 10
representatives, including the requestor; include a geographically equitable
distribution of stakeholders with a diversity of opinions related to the

commitment: Action Team will meet monthly for six months or as long as needed to
develop a draft plan; meeting time and location will be determined by the Action
Team.
